Apprenticeships are not just for young people. We believe that all age groups should benefit from being able to acquire new skills and qualifications. Taking an Apprenticeship based qualification is a great way to advance your career. We have helped hundreds of adults gain the skills and qualifications they need to progress and increase their value to their employer.
Apprenticeships provide standard measures for what you should know about, be able to do, how well, and in what contexts and conditions. Therefore Apprenticeship qualifications can help you to measure your performance and the contribution you make to achieving goals. Apprentices can be existing employees.
The standards for each Apprenticeship have been nationally developed and agreed by industry Sector Skills Councils such as the Institute of Customer Service, Council for Administration and Chartered Management Institute as well as new standards-based apprenticeships which have been developed by industry "trailblazers" to ensure the needs of business are met by apprenticeship qualifications.
Providing you are willing to invest some time and effort in learning and developing new skills within your job role, the work-based learning route is a highly effective and straightforward learning method.
How It Works
Apprenticeship qualifications must take at least 12 months to complete and your overall time in learning will depend upon individual circumstances. You must spend time off-the-job in pursuit of new skills and you will be supported by your employer and by us.
After initial assessment and induction sessions, we visit you every month to deliver skills and knowledge training and you will also have access to our e-portfolio and our unwavering support at all times.
Our e-portfolio allows you to work at your convenience and upload work which can be assessed by us throughout the month between visits. You can clearly monitor your progress with your chosen qualification and we will help, guide and motivate you through the process.
